David Cay Johnston is a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist and author of best-selling books on tax and economic policy, including Free Lunch. He was formerly with The New York Times, where his reporting focused on how the system operates rather than what politicians say about it. Johnston began his career, at age 19, by talking his way into a staff writer job for the San Jose Mercury, and has also reported for the Detroit Free Press, the Los Angeles Times and The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Carlos Bernard has played a wide variety of characters on the big and small screens. Known for his role in the Fox hit, 24, he began his career in the theater, starring in and directing several productions. He's made numerous TV guest appearances, including in Walker, Texas Ranger and Silk Stalkings, and was a regular on the daytime drama, The Young and the Restless. Bernard received his M.F.A. degree from San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater and is cofounder of the Los Angeles-based Ashbury Actors Group.
