Pulitzer Prize-winning author Taylor Branch discusses At Canaan's Edge, the third volume of his trilogy on Dr. Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement.
Taylor Branch
An authority on America's civil rights movement, Taylor Branch won a Pulitzer for the first of his books chronicling Dr. Martin Luther King's career. As an undergrad in the mid-60s, the Atlanta native became fascinated by Dr. King. A diary Branch began while working in a voter registration project launched his career as a writer. Branch's books include Second Wind and Blind Ambition. He's also written for several national publications. The newly-released At Canaan's Edge is the final installment in the King trilogy.
