Phil Vassar is one of the few country keyboard superstars. He's also had success writing for such artists as Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw and JoDee Messina and won ASCAP's Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year Awards. Having sharpened his skills playing piano and singing in a restaurant he owned and other Nashville venues, Vassar secured a recording deal with Arista Records. His self-titled debut album was released in 2000, and his newest CD is Shaken Not Stirred.
