For the past six years, the outlet for Bill Maher's acerbic wit has been HBO's Real Time. His credits include five specials for the cable net and Comedy Central's award-winning Politically Incorrect. With a degree in English from Cornell University, Maher began his career in the '80s on the New York club scene. The outspoken comedian has also written four best sellers, including When You Ride Alone You Ride With Bin Laden, and, last year, wrote and starred in the comedy/documentary, Religulous.
